And...The Winner Is!

The April 27th meeting was a Club Assembly, and one major item on the agenda was the announcement that our own Arif Saleem was the winner of the hybrid car in the District 5890 Rotary Foundation Raffle! Way to go Saleem...and he was out of town so we couldn't congratulate him in person! On his return to town from a trip Saleem was called by a District representative who needed to get some information to complete awarding the car. Saleem was so stunned and in disbelief that he asked "It it the truth?" to which the reply was "Oh yes, and it's fair to all concerned as well."

Joining us this week from the Rosenberg Rotary Club was our old friend Mo Singh. Come again...any time Mo!

Delores Delsing presented President Bola with a certificate acknowledging the club for its participation in literacy projects throughout the 2009-2010 Rotary Year.

Jon King presented JohnPaul Jourard with a pin fob to recognize 35 years or perfect attendance. We didn't know JP was that old!
