The Winning Bid
We had out Club Assembly Auction this week. The usual supplies overage from the basketball tournament was very light this year. Due to Karen's planning and a consistent purchase line at the tournament we didn't really have very much left over. After allocating some of the supplies to the Holiday Party we did manage to auction off candy bars, water and some items doanted byu Ken Burgess and Karen Blakeman.
The final tally was lower than October's auction...but we had fun and did raise some funding for the Ed Webster Vocational Scholarship Fund
Guests, Visitors & Other Good News
Ken Marsh re-introduced Frank Ha to the club members this week. This was Frank's fourth visit with the club...about time to draft him maybe?
Frank talked to us about his interest and activities in the education of our youth today. No wonder Ken asked him to visit our club, since education is one of our primary service activities.
Welcome Frank...do join us again!
