Office of Harris County Attorney
Vince Ryan has a long history of service to our country and to Houston and Harris County. He saw military service in Panama and the first Gulf war, he served three terms on the Houston City Council and he served s previous Harris County Attorney as an Assistant or First Assistant County Attorney.
On January 1, 2009, Vince began his four year term as the duly elected Harris Country Attorney.
Since election he has stressed working closely with the Harris Country District Attorney and other law enforcement offices to find solutions facing the City of Houston, Harris County as well as the State of Texas and the country as well. Vince has appointed an Inspector General, formed a Special Prosecution Unit that is working to close properties that shelter criminal activities, and created a separate environmental division. He has also reorganized the office to make it more efficient, conducted ethics training for the staff, and improved internal communication and morale.
Vince invites the residents of Harris County to contact his office to determine if his staff can be of assistance in resolving legal issues that might involve the county.
JohnPaul introduced us to two guests this week: Thudoan Doan, Director of Marketing for Honvietv, otherwise known locally as Little Saigon Radio; and Kim Nguyen from PJ's company home office in California. Welcome...and do come again!
We had a plethora of Good News this week with Delores, Greg, Karen and Rory (along with others) all being happy about something.
