Membership - Job 1
Abbi Awdi, the District 5890 Membership Chair, was our special guest speaker this week. He talked about the importance of every Rotary Club working continually to recruit and enroll new members. New members mean new friends, more hands to work on club projects and more ideas on how our club can be of service to our community and the world.
In the past year the Rotary Club of Sharpstown dedicated funding to support may local service projects and one international project where we teams with a club in India and also obtained supporting funding from the Rotary Foundation. Guests, Visitors and Other Good News
Karen Blakeman had two guests this week - Helga Mattei was a first-time visitor and Belinda Kaylani made a return visit to the club.
We also welcomed Al Hoang, candidate for City Council, District F, and his campaign manager James Le Quynh.
