Being Safe In An Unsafe World
Ouer guest speaker this week was Richard Bloom, speaker, author, trainer, actor, who talked with us about personal safety programs and how to be proactive in keeping yourself safe.
If you were attacked, would you know what to do? Richard's emphasis was on practical precautions that people can take to reduce their ability to violent assault. His message was suited to both men and women and covered the home, situations in cars, parking lots and of course the streets. This is very serious information, yet he presented it in a humorous manner.
While people are discouraged from carrying guns, Richard did discuss effective alternatives including street moves and non-lethal weapons which would allow the potential victim to escape without doing permanent damage to the assailant.
It was a very interesting and thought provoking presentation. Should you know of any other group that might benefit from such a presentation you can learn more about booking Richard here. |
