Carmen Cuneo from the Hermann Park Club was our guest speaker this week. She spoke to us about this year's District 5890 Conference.
Our 2009 District Conference will be held at L'Auberge du lac Hotel & Casino in Lake Charles, LA, starting on Thursday, April 30th and running through Saturday, May 2nd. This is a wonderful opportunity for Rotarians (oldtimers & newbees) to expand their knowledge of district & club projects, yourth exchange, GSE while enjoying the opportunity to bond with fellow Rotarians.

Rotarian Enaam Hamid joined us as a visitor this week. His home club is Lahore Metropolitan in Pakistan.
Ken Marsh introduced us to his friend, Richard Rosenthal, whom we hope will join us for another meeting soon.
Archie Wilcox had his eyes checked recently and Dr. Chin sent him away with two bags of glasses for our Mexican eye glass project. Thanks Dr. Chin!
