Club Assembly Classification TalkGreg Hinsley

 

Greg Hinsley, our newest club member presented a Classification Talk this week. Greg is a Financial Planner with an independent practice offering one-on-one planning assistance.

Greg also talked about himself and his general approach to life and relationships with other people. Little wonder that he wanted to join Rotary...he is a working, living example of the 4-Way Test

So, welcome to Sharpstown Rotary, Greg! We are proud to have you as a member...and a friend!

 

Rotary FoundationThe Rotary Foundation

Karen Blakeman, our RI Foundation Chair, talked about the club's continuing participation in support of the Foundation. Our club has been designated a Paul Harris Club for the past two years - meaning that ever member has achieved Paul Harris Fellowship status. You gain Paul Harris Fellowship status when you have donated $1,000 (or had that amount donated in your name) to the Rotary Foundation.

Karen noted that it is our goal to retain that status...and to have every member continue to donate a minumum of $100 per year to the Foundation.

Good News..."Bad" Jokes

In a continuing show of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly our membership contributed a load of good news and a sprinkling of humor. And we were delighted with both (I think).
